- **Currency**: USD cash preferred; EUR cash accepted. Syria is a cash economy due to international banking sanctions — credit cards and ATMs do not work.
- **Deposit**: Confirmed during booking; typically 30% to secure the reservation.
- **Balance**: Paid in cash on arrival in Damascus.
- **No online payments are processed.** All transactions are confirmed manually by email.

## Cancellation Policy

- **More than 30 days before departure**: Deposit may be refundable minus bank/wire fees.
- **15–30 days before departure**: Partial refund, typically 50% of deposit.
- **Less than 15 days before departure**: Non-refundable.
- **Force majeure / safety cancellation by Syria Link**: Full refund.
