Route Overview
The journey from Amman to Damascus is approximately 195 km (120 miles) and typically takes 3 to 4 hours depending on border formalities. The route passes through northern Jordan and crosses into southern Syria.
Border Crossing Point
The main crossing used is the Jaber-Nasib border point. Jaber is the Jordanian side; Nasib is the Syrian side. This is the primary crossing between Jordan and Syria. Both sides have immigration, customs, and security checks.
