1 Arrival & Damascus Welcome (Dinner)
Arrive in Damascus. Meet your guide and driver. Afternoon orientation walk through the Old City: Umayyad Mosque, Al-Hamidiyah Souq, Straight Street. Welcome dinner at a traditional Damascene courtyard restaurant. Overnight in Damascus.
2 Damascus Deep Dive (Breakfast, Lunch)
Full day in Damascus. Morning visit to the National Museum and the Tekkiye Sulaymaniyah complex. Walk through Bab Touma, Bab Sharqi, and the Christian quarter. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Afternoon visit Mount Qasioun for panoramic city views, then explore the Sayyida Ruqayya shrine and the surrounding old quarter. Evening free. Overnight in Damascus.
3 Maaloula, Sednaya & Desert Route to Palmyra (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning visit to Maaloula and Sednaya monasteries north of Damascus. Continue east on the desert road to Palmyra. Arrive in time for sunset at the ruins. Check into accommodation. Overnight in Palmyra.
4 Palmyra Morning & Homs Afternoon (Breakfast, Lunch)
Sunrise visit to Palmyra for photography (optional). Full guided tour of the ancient city: Temple of Bel, Great Colonnade, theater, Valley of Tombs. Late morning departure to Homs. Afternoon visit Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque and Homs Old City. Overnight in Homs.
5 Krak des Chevaliers & Drive to Aleppo (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning visit to Krak des Chevaliers, the magnificent Crusader fortress. Guided exploration of the castle. Lunch in the valley. Afternoon drive to Aleppo (approx. 2 hours). Evening walk in the Jdeideh Christian quarter and dinner at a historic Aleppine restaurant. Overnight in Aleppo.
6 Aleppo — The Citadel and Souqs (Breakfast, Lunch)
Full day in Aleppo. Morning at the Aleppo Citadel and surrounding area. Walk the covered souqs — one of the longest in the world. Visit the Great Mosque of Aleppo and historic khans (caravanserais). Lunch in the souq area with local specialties. Afternoon visit to the Armenian quarter and Aleppo Museum (if open). Farewell dinner in Aleppo. Overnight in Aleppo.
7 Coastal Route: Saladin's Castle & Departure (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning drive toward the coast. Visit Saladin's Castle (Qalaat Salah ad-Din), a dramatic fortress built on a mountain ridge. Brief visit to the ancient site of Ugarit near Latakia (if time allows). Lunch on the Mediterranean coast. Afternoon return to Damascus (approx. 4 hours) or departure from Latakia/Damascus as arranged.
